Quest Educational Technologies LLP (“Quest”, “we”, “us”) runs questtechnologies.online. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it and the choices you have. It follows India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
- Order inquiries. The details you enter in our order form, such as your name, school or organisation, contact details, city and the grades you are interested in.
- Job applications. The details you submit on our application page, such as your name, contact details, education, answers to our questions and any links you share.
- Messages. Anything you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Usage data. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It records pages viewed, the referring website, browser type and country in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address to deliver the website and protect it from attacks.
2. How we use it
- To reply to inquiries, arrange demos and process orders.
- To review job applications and contact applicants.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
- To keep the website secure and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that help us run the website and our business: Cloudflare (hosting, security and analytics) and Google (forms and spreadsheets that store form submissions). These providers may process data outside India under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
4. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The application form on our application page is provided by Google and may set cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
5. How long we keep it
- Order inquiries: up to 3 years after our last contact with you.
- Job applications: up to 12 months after a hiring decision.
- Analytics: kept only in aggregate form.
You can ask us to delete your data earlier at any time.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or withdraw your consent. You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Contact us by phone or WhatsApp and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Children
This website is meant for parents, teachers, schools and job applicants. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 through this website. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure.
9. The Quest app
This policy covers this website only. If you use the Quest app, please also read the privacy information in its app store listing.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
